artist's comments:
I was awarded a project for a publisher of a story named 100 years with Baby Teeth. The main character was worried that her teeth would never fall out like all her other classmates. The challenge was to portray how the main character imagined herself getting old and gray (without losing her teeth) and to keep her aging self from looking scary. The pages needed to be bright and upbeat even though the main character was frustrated through much of the story. This was also a rush job which added to the mix of elements involved in executing a successful project. Both the publisher and I were very happy with the finished product delivered ahead of time and full of fun.
