artist's comments:
This project was for a religious publisher who wanted to reach out to pre-level readers with very simple messages and illustrations they could easily relate to. There was very little text so the illustrations had to tell the story. We touched on well known christian stories that would introduce children to the writings of the bible in a warm and inviting way. The publisher was happy with my work and I was glad to have a hand in bringing these biblical teachings to life.
