What a wild chain of events that brought me to this project!

I was leaving the Book Expo in Manhattan with Oliver (my agent) when both of our flights were canceled due to bad weather..

By sheer fate that night we went to the "W" for a few drinks. I was drawing cartoons of the people at the bar when I met the VP of sales for Universal Music.  We laughed for quite a while then exchanged contact info.

I hadn't given it a second thought when I found myself in Los Angeles (6) months later, Oliver suggested that I visit our new buddy at Universal.

The day I arrived to meet him, He already had work waiting for me!

They asked me to illustrate a promotional CD cover with a cartoon rendition of Universal Music's President Jim Urie.

This CD was distributed to all of Universal Music's clients world wide (77 countries) WOW!!

What a blast  that was...

I did several sketches to their specification and worked up the final art digitally.

 Jim loved it so much,  I made a poster for him that hangs in his office today!
