technical info: These illustrations were created using Electric Image, Bryce, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop on my Macintosh computer.

artist's comments:
 This book was a 32 page educational title for a New York publisher. Each page was fully illustrated. The trees were modeled using a 3D software that actually “grew” the trees in a virtual modelling program. This was done by entering the age, season and type of tree. I then created the backgrounds using Bryce. The ensemble was integrated into Photoshop and then rendered as a 300 dpi bit-map file for printing purposes. The client was very happy with the results. Because the entire book was created with 3D software we also have the option to create a multi-media CD from the existing artwork elements as well.
