After the success of Scholastic's Horrible Histories, I was lucky enough to start the Famous Dead Canadian series. The first book was nominated for the OLA Silver Birch award. I should be working soon on book two.

The nice thing about the Red Cedar and the Silver Birch award is that they are voted on by the kids, to me that makes these awards extra special.
