artist's comments:
This 3D book cover illustration was commissioned by a Toronto Publisher art director. They didn't have any reference for the type of satellite weapon that we had to illustrate so I made it up as I went along. The satellite gun and the globe were illustrated using a 3D software and then imported into Photoshop to add the starscape. The final cover results were stunning, and the art director decided to print the cover on a chrome paper.
