Sometimes the photos that most people would throw away are my favorite.
- sb edwards
SB Edwards is a photographer, stylist, art director and optimist at large. After finishing art school in New Zealand, SB spent several years traveling the globe and refined a nomadic commitment to capturing ‘moments’ along the way. This influence is reflected in SB’s editorial and fashion work and brings to it, a highly contemporary aesthetic infused with a candid yet elusive edge. In addition to maintaining a fine art practice, with a recent exhibition at Museum London, SB’s work has appeared in a variety of publications such as The National Post, The Globe and Mail, Back Magazine and Nightlife. She also contributes regularly to international magazines including Flux (UK), NEO2 (Madrid), H (Barcelona) and Art Papers (US). When not in the midst shooting or in the depths of the darkroom, SB can often be found sipping Saporo beside the bbq, playing death cab for cutie too loud, scouring the Salvation Army store, ripping pictures out of magazines and making obscure videos about bangs.
