For Toronto based illustrator, Daniel Chen, illustration takes on a personal and family touch.
"Illustration is definitely an extension of myself. My ideas and creative process are drawn from my past experiences, my surroundings, things I've learned...Inspiration also comes from within the home. Married to a photographer, Daniel and his wife are proud parents of little boy. "My wife's work offers me a different artistic expression and approach. From my son, I really feed off his energy and enthusiasm although he has definitely become my harshest critic."
